Day by Day Kitchen Renovation Schedule

The initial step towards creating your dream kitchen is scheduling an in-home consultation appointment.

We dedicate approximately 30 to 45 minutes at your home to understand the space and hear your ideas and essential requirements for the new kitchen.

Precise measurements are taken in the kitchen to ensure the new design fits perfectly, balancing functionality and style.

During the in-home appointment, there will be no aggressive sales tactics or pressure to make a purchase.

We bring all the measurements and concepts back to the office, where we carefully craft the design to optimize the functionality of your new kitchen (or laundry).

The design, presented as 3D images, is then emailed to you along with a detailed quotation, outlining all components—kitchen cost, installation fees, and any additional inclusions you request.

We prioritize transparency and honesty, and the best part is that you won't have to wait weeks—we'll provide you with a quote within 24 to 48 hours!

We strive to achieve the best possible outcome for you, so we will naturally follow up with phone calls and emails to gather your feedback, make any necessary adjustments, and offer advice on appliances or flooring. We are just a phone call away.

We can arrange a meeting at our selection centre, a stunning place to explore and select finishes. Visits are by appointment only, and the coffee is excellent. The centre is situated in North Plympton, with a new display centre opening in the southern area soon.

After finalizing the plans and when you're ready to move forward, we visit your home to verify all measurements—after all, it's wise to measure twice and cut once!

We then arrange your delivery date, removal date, and installation dates, and request a 25% deposit.

Planning ahead: Delivery and installation dates are coordinated and scheduled during the check measure process.

Your kitchen then enters the production phase. The timeline for this largely depends on our current workload, which affects the availability of installers.

Let's consider an example: Joanne was so impressed that she decided Reedesign Kitchens was the company she felt comfortable with, and she was thrilled with both the service and the price. From our first meeting with her to the completion of her new kitchen installation took 5 weeks, with the actual installation of her new kitchen completed in just 4 days.

Naturally, no two kitchen renovations are identical, and significant construction work will lengthen the timeline.

Some clients have given us their keys and gone on a holiday—imagine returning from a trip to find a brand-new kitchen!

Typically, the plumber and electrician will contact you to provide quotes for the necessary work, and you should schedule your preferred tilers or glass splashback installation.

A 1960s home is on the cusp of modern transformation as it prepares to welcome a new kitchen, complete with a butler's pantry. The stripped-down room, highlighted by a new window, marks the beginning of this stylish update.

Day one of installation and preparation- Removal day is always my favorite. There's a lot going on today. We get there early to take out and dispose of the old kitchen. Unlike those renovation shows, we don't use sledgehammers; our approach is more calculated and careful! The electrical and plumbing trades are also present to disconnect appliances, and this is typically the day the new kitchen is delivered.

There's a lot going on, but trust the process. By day's end, the area will be a blank canvas prepared for transformation plus the rubbish is cleared and disposed of too.

Days two to five are dedicated to installation and craftsmanship. Our excellent installation team will arrive early to start fitting your kitchen. The duration of this process depends on the size and complexity of your design, but typically, the kitchen is completed within this timeframe.

Once the final installation day is complete, the electrician and plumber will come back to reconnect all your appliances, so you can start cooking up a storm in your new kitchen. You can then organize and store your items in the cabinets (after a thorough sorting). The splashback can be installed 24 hours after the benchtop installed.
